Terms of service

Who we are

Charbel Msallem Studios is the fashion photography and film studio of Charbel Moussallem, based in Beirut, Lebanon, and working in Paris, Milano, Barcelona, Dubai and Istanbul. We create campaigns, lookbooks, editorials and fashion films for couture and jewellery houses.

Services and prices

Every commission is described in a written quotation: the number of looks, retouched images, reels and films, the location and the delivery time. Prices are in US dollars for Lebanon and in euros abroad. Talent, hair and makeup, location, styling and travel are quoted separately, at cost, and only after the client approves them. A quotation is valid for 14 days.

Booking and payment

A commission is confirmed when the client signs the quotation and pays a 60% deposit. The deposit holds the shoot date and opens pre-production. The remaining 40% is due on delivery, and the final files are released when the balance is paid. Payment is made by bank transfer or by card through our secure payment page. Bank charges are at the sender's cost.

Delivery

Delivery is digital, through a private download link. The delivery time is counted from the client's selection of images: 7, 10 or 14 days depending on the commission. One round of retouch revisions is included; further rounds are quoted at 200 per round.

Weather and rescheduling

For outdoor shoots a second morning is held as a weather day. A shoot moved more than 14 days before its date keeps its deposit, which carries over to a new date within six months.

Usage and credit

The client may use the delivered images and films on its own social media and website. Paid advertising, print campaigns and other uses are licensed separately. Copyright remains with Charbel Msallem Studios. Published work carries the credit "Charbel Msallem Studios". The studio may show the work in its portfolio after the client's own publication.

Concepts

Mood boards, storyboards and concepts presented before signature remain the property of the studio until the commission is signed.

Image creation tools

Some commissions use digital image-creation and retouching tools alongside the camera. When a deliverable is created this way, the quotation and agreement say so in writing.

Refund and cancellation policy

Because the deposit reserves a date and funds pre-production (concept, mood board, storyboard, crew and location bookings), it is applied to the commission rather than refunded.

• More than 14 days before the shoot: the deposit moves to a new date within six months.
• Within 14 days of the shoot: costs already committed to third parties (talent, location, travel) remain due.
• If the studio cannot shoot for reasons on its side, the client chooses a new date or a full refund of all amounts paid.
• Delivered work is digital and cannot be returned. If a deliverable does not match the signed quotation, the studio corrects it at no cost.

Refunds, when due, are paid within 14 days to the account or card used for the payment. Any special terms in a signed agreement take precedence over this page.

Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to work together: your name, your house, your email and phone number, your billing details and the information you share about a project.

We use it to answer you, prepare quotations and invoices, deliver your files and keep our accounts. We do not sell or rent your information.

Card payments are processed by our bank's payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.

Our website uses basic, anonymous analytics to understand which pages are read. Links we send may carry a short reference so we know which presentation was opened.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
